This melamine "Margrethe" mixing bowl is nice and deep for mixing batters. A rubberized ring on the base of the bowl prevents slipping as you whisk, beat, or stir. A wide edge on one side of the bowl allows you to properly grip and steady the bowl when beating, and a pouring lip on the other side makes it easy to pour the batter into cake pans.
Not intended for use in microwave. Melamine is resistant to scratches, stains, and odour transfer and is heat resistant to 356°F/180C.
